Virey An, a Cambodian refugee who escaped from Cambodia in 1979 when Vietnamese troop invaded Cambodia, fled to Kao-I-Dang camp in Thailand which sponsored by United Nations. Virey and 3 siblings were sponsored by the U.S. Government as refugee in 1981. All were settled down in Oregon. Virey graduated from Beaverton High School in 1985. He immediately to work on his dream; an English - Cambodian dictionary to help his fellow refugees to follow over the years. He moved to Boston to work over there. He returned to Oregon in 1987 to attend Portland Community College, by 1990 he had earned Associate of General Studies, Associate of Arts, Associate of Science and two Certificates in Data Processing - Computer Operator and Microcomputer Information Systems. He went to Portland State University. He graduated from Portland State University in 1993 with Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and General Studies.

Virey is currently working full-time and doing a research on another projects which will release in the near future.
